The Show Must Go On: a visual history of FeNaClNG

The FeNaCLNG Festival is a popular annual community event, held since 1972. The name is derived from the main industries in the area: Fe= Iron, NaCl= Salt, NG= Natural Gas.

The two-day festival attracts visitors from around the region and stallholders from all over Australia. FeNaCLNG is preceded each year by a Float Parade, and during the weekend visitors can experience show rides, sideshow alley, live music, family entertainment, food vans, community displays, the annual tug-o-war, and the grand finale of a fireworks display.

Visit the Red Earth Arts Precinct (upstairs foyer gallery) to see photographs of the changes that have taken place since the first FeNaCl.
